About the author:

During my childhood, I had a wonder about my own perception of senses. That wonder had never left him entirely as I had become an adult. While pursuing my Bachelor's degree at the University of Dhaka, College of Dentistry, Bangladesh, I had a fleeting exposure of the brain. That exposure, albeit had been brief, had kindled my passion and interest to understand more about this mystifying organ. Subsequently, in 1995, soon after I had arrived in the United States, I duly passed the National Dental Board Exams, a prerequisite for the foreign-trained Dentists. However, instead of pursuing Dentistry, I had opted for a career in teaching and research. During this period, my desire to pursue neurology had remained latent in me.

Eventually, after I had found the prospect of studies and research in Neurology, I ceased the opportunity gleefully. During the years of 2006 through 2013, I had participated in various online Neurology coursework under several noteworthy professors from several prestigious Universities. Also, I had gone through numerous publications and journals pertaining to neurology.

I always had a passion for writing. I had my first article published in a prestigious English Daily, while I had been in my native country, Bangladesh. Afterward, I had written and published many articles in newspapers. This has been, however, my first effort in writing a book, which took a good portion of two years to complete. It is a work of my passion as I tried to find the neurological basis of our perception and behavior. The book has been eventually published in December of 2013.
